I am a coach of a small privat school that has some really talented golfers. I am a PGA Professional that is looking to take my team to play against some better competition. Right now we are not allowed to play with the public schools, and the other private schools do not have any quality golfers. I have one player that is a junior that has the ability to play division I college golf and several others that could play at the small college level. I am just trying to find them some tournaments to play in with other players that have the same ability if not better.

Well thats a good question. It’s cool that you are willing to help your golfers as much as you can anyhow, you may have to call other private schools as much as 2-3 hours aways to arrange a match. Obviously it isn’t a tournament but at least its something.

Why not enter them in some of the smaller fairly local professional tournaments below the Nationwide Tour as amateurs?
The cost should be about the same when you consider traveling expenses.
Write Golf Digest, Golf magazine, and the USGA about your plight. This is the type of story they like to cover. Are your players being discriminated against and not receiving an equal opportunity because of their religious beliefs and their choice to pursue and education in a religious environment? The NCAA has no right to exclude anyone based on race, gender or religious belief.
Better yet, there are enough religious players on tour who would set some things in motion in a big way if you can get their attention. Tom Lehman leads payers at tournaments.
I don’t even know what small christion private school’s are. I would have to answer no though. You desire sound too elitist and anti-American. Why not play in OPEN school tournaments or OPEN junior tournaments?
Have you checked your conference yet? Are you in a conference? Sounds like you are a new coach; you might talk to some of the other golf coaches, even if they tend to be non-professionals, in high schools. I would also check with Catholic school conferences and other parochial schools. When I played at a Catholic High School, we just played in the same tournaments as the other schools. Even if you aren’t allowed to compete against them in some divisions, cities, you might be able to play in same tournaments as an unaffilliated school. It’s worth a shot.
