Go to your local golf club and get a lesson with a golf instructor. They are your best chance at improving your stroke and technique. Not just one lesson though. Some make the mistake of only having one lesson, but you need many.

maybe you can choose a golf driver that suits your dad most . a good swing contains a lot of things , such as the driving range, maybe you can buy a good drivers for your dad, someone says the longer the driver is ,the long driving range it will be.Taylormade R7 CGB max driver has wrench torque.
I would actually suggest both of the answers by the previous two contributors, if you can possibly afford it. Get him outfitted for a new set of clubs with the help of an experienced golf pro, and some swing lessons for him from that same pro if at all possible.
I think this might be the best gift that you should give to your dad to improve his golf swing. Anyone, regardless of ability, can learn it quickly and easily. What makes this system work so well is that you don’t have to master all of it all at once. You get one part down and move on to the next. And in a much shorter time than you’d imagine.
In fact, you can learn the whole system in about three hours. And two weeks later, you’ll be playing killer golf.

- lessons
- gift card to a course
- take him on a golf trip
- get him new gear (hats, glove, balls, bag)
- play a few rounds with him
Good luck!
Buy him a nice big box of golf balls, (if his swing isn’t so good he’ll need plenty!), make him a nice smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, a cup of coffee and sit him down at a laptop to read through the article below about the lost fundamentals of Hogan. Ben Hogan was probably the greatest player of his generation and spent his whole life discovering the science of the golf swing.
