Golf Club Sets
What kind of golf club sets are best for a beginner?
I’m just starting out and I’m trying to work on a consistent swing during this summer. What would be the best route to take in purchasing a new set for myself?
Will an expensive set help me prepare to play the game better?
The more information the better.
Just starting out, I’d look into getting a complete set, so the investment is as minimal as possible. Here’s one to look at:

The pricing is GREAT and this is a high quality set. If this set doesn’t appeal to your eye, the things you need to look for are: hybrids (easier to hit than irons, especially in the longer irons), cavity back irons (will be easier to hit than a blade style iron), large driver (larger equals more forgiving, equals easier to learn to hit it equals more fun on the golf course)!
The other thing you need to have is a lot of patience. The game is harder for some to pick up, but it’s a great game and a great place to spend time with others and a great way to spend time outdoors.
