Longest Driver Golf

How long should my driver be?
I am about 5′ 7.5″ and my driver is 45″. when ever i try to hit it, either the ball goes straight up, or i scuff the ground and hit it really low and not far at all. if i choke down on it, it seems like i can hit it more consistent. any ideas?
p.s. i have had a few private lessons with my local golf pro so my swing should not be the problem
thanks

Both of these are static fitting tools. They’ll ask for height and wrist-to-floor measurements. They should give you a head start for when you go to see your local pro or club builder for the dynamic fitting session. If you’re choking down and hitting it better, chances are you do need a shorter club, but go see the fitter to make certain.
